OBELI CAFE
Obeli is a coffee, culture and culinary collective, and its brand film is a man alone on a beach at sunset while a voice speaks about attitude: what makes a person, what breaks one, and the dreamers and achievers who see things differently. WithFeeling composed the original music, closing on the line “beyond form and more than pleasure”.
THE CHALLENGE
Obeli is a cafe built as a coffee, culture and culinary collective, a place where great coffee meets community and good food. The challenge for a space like this is atmosphere you can hear: a sound warm, characterful and effortlessly cool, capturing the relaxed creativity of the room while making the brand feel as considered and inviting as the cup in your hand.
THE APPROACH
The words carry the weight, so the music holds back: a slow, spacious score that moves with the waves and the light, warm enough to feel like the room Obeli wants to be and restrained enough never to talk over the voice.
THE RESULT
A brand film that sounds like a state of mind rather than a menu, which is exactly how Obeli wants to be found.
