Mubadala is one of the world’s most active sovereign investors, with a portfolio that spans clean energy, technology, industry, healthcare, real estate and people. WithFeeling composed the original music and sound design for the six-film brand series, working in partnership with Boomtown to give each film its own emotional voice while keeping the campaign one coherent sound across all six.
THE CHALLENGE
Score six films across radically different worlds, from clean energy to local community, advanced technology to Al Maryah Island. Each film had to land on its own merits, emotionally, tonally and visually, while still feeling like part of a single brand-level campaign for one of the world’s most significant sovereign investors.
THE APPROACH
WithFeeling built each film’s score around a shared melodic spine, so the six pieces speak the same musical language while taking their own emotional direction. From quietly hopeful for People and Local Community, to confident and forward-leaning for Clean Energy, Industry and Advanced Technology, to grand and architectural for Al Maryah Island. Sound design layered through the picture so every beat of the campaign feels intentional. Composed in partnership with Boomtown.
