It’s always fulfilling to work on projects that create something unique and special, and we’ve been privileged to work in bringing to life the rich soundscapes of Saudi Arabia, thanks to our recent involvement with AlUla, Aramco, Islamic Arts Biennale, Diriyah, and The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC).
In addition to forthcoming projects that we’ll be able to share at a later date, we’re delighted with our recent collaboration with the National Development Fund.
Given the task of creating their new sonic brand identity, we created original music and sound design, ensuring it worked across several films. We believe we’ve created a soundtrack that encapsulates everything the NDF stands for, across a variety of platforms.

The National Development Fund (NDF) celebrates Saudi National Day by reflecting on the Kingdom’s remarkable transformation. This year’s film, “Living a reality that once was just a dream,” captures the essence of Saudi Arabia’s journey, showcasing its progress in areas like infrastructure, renewable energy, and technology, while remaining deeply connected to its cultural heritage. The NDF plays a crucial role in driving these advancements, fostering sustainable growth and shaping the nation’s future.
A Sonic Journey: From Dream to Reality
The music created for this celebration had to be more than just a soundtrack—it needed to tell the story of Saudi Arabia’s evolution. Building on the NDF’s original sonic identity that we crafted 18 months ago, we composed a new piece that reflects the nation’s progress.
The music begins softly, evoking a dreamlike quality, symbolising Saudi Arabia’s early aspirations. As the piece develops, it grows into a powerful orchestral crescendo, representing the realisation of those dreams. This sonic journey mirrors the nation’s path—from humble beginnings to becoming a dynamic global force.
Extending the NDF Sonic Identity
Having previously developed the NDF’s sonic identity, revisiting and evolving it for this occasion was an exciting challenge. The new composition needed to be versatile, maintaining consistency with the original theme while capturing the energy and pride of Saudi Arabia today. This orchestral score amplifies the NDF’s message, serving as a bold reflection of the nation’s progress and unity.
