In its inaugural edition, the Islamic Arts Biennale brings together centuries of faith and artistic expression. Taking centre stage at the iconic Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the Biennale celebrates cultural, intellectual, and artistic achievements that trace their origins to the House of Allah, Awwal Bait (“First House”).

We are thrilled to share our latest sonic branding project titled “Awwal Bait” which means “First House” for the Islamic Arts Biennale in Jeddah, in collaboration with our dear friends at APCO.

Our team was tasked with developing a sonic identity that encapsulated the event's feel and with our hour long composed theme, enabled attendees to become fully immersed in the experience through sound.

The result is a catchy, Saudi-inspired sonic identity that incorporates real oud, which we recorded specifically for this project. We are thrilled to hear the sonic identity we developed being used at the event and in all of the Islamic Arts Biennale's social media campaigns and content.

The first installment of the Islamic Arts Biennale honours centuries of religious belief and creative expression. The event, which is being held at the famous Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, aims to highlight accomplishments in the fields of culture, knowledge, and the arts that have their roots in the House of Allah, Awwal Bait ("First House"). Our team put a lot of effort into coming up with a catchy, Saudi-inspired sonic identity that incorporates real oud, which we specifically recorded for this project. The end result captures the essence of the event. We are overjoyed to hear that the Islamic Arts Biennale is using our sound at the event and throughout all of its social media campaigns and content.
