Gamers8 is one of the world’s biggest gaming and esports festivals, and the film needed music with the energy and spectacle to match.

THE CHALLENGE

Reworking such a well-known classical piece for a modern, high-energy gaming audience was, in our words, a musical Everest, demanding both reverence for Grieg’s original and bold contemporary reinvention.

THE APPROACH

We rebuilt the piece as a powerful, cinematic production, pouring real craft into a gigantic Pro Tools session to drive its relentless build and high-octane finish. It was a true labour of love.

THE RESULT

The result is a thrilling reimagining of a classic that matches the scale and adrenaline of Gamers8, giving the film a soundtrack as epic as the event itself.
