Dubai Properties commissioned WithFeeling to create the music for 1/JBR, the beachfront luxury tower in Jumeirah Beach Residence. Notably, the building rises 47 levels above the waterfront, with three and four-bedroom apartments alongside five-bedroom penthouses. As a result, the launch film needed a soundtrack that matched the ambition of the architecture.

1/JBR rises forty-seven levels above the 1.7-kilometre waterfront of Jumeirah Beach Residence. Notably, the glass exteriors catch every shift of light off the Arabian Gulf, while ocean panoramas stretch into infinity from every level.
Furthermore, a turquoise pool decks the ground level, private lobbies welcome residents into VIP parking and amenities, and the whole experience feels unmistakably Dubai. As a result, the launch film needed a soundtrack equal to the setting.
THE CHALLENGE
1/JBR is more than a building. Indeed, it stands as one of Dubai’s most prominent addresses, a residence built for the city’s elite.
The launch film therefore demanded music and sound design that matched both the scale of the location and the quality of the build. Beachfront serenity, elevated luxury, and an unmistakable sense of place all needed to land in the same composition.
Moreover, the music for 1/JBR had to carry the film across digital, broadcast and brand moments without ever feeling generic.
THE APPROACH
WithFeeling composed original music tailored to the rhythm of the film. Notably, the layered textures feel expansive and refined, with movement that mirrors the sweep of the camera across the waterfront.
Meanwhile, the sound design gives every detail of the build its own audible presence: the glide of the pool, the open air of the penthouses, and the calm of arrival into the lobby.
As a result, the music for 1/JBR works as one unified piece with the sound design, built in-house from the ground up.
THE RESULT
The final film carries the audio confidence its setting demanded. Notably, the music elevates the visuals without competing for attention.
Meanwhile, the sound design lets the building speak for itself, layer by layer. Together, the piece gives 1/JBR a sonic presence as polished as the architecture it celebrates.
