Delta Three Oscar makes impact-protection equipment for military and law enforcement, with one promise behind everything they build: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us.” The brand film features former Special Forces operator Jay Morton, and WithFeeling sound-designed the piece with that authenticity in mind: every footstep, every impact, every breath built to feel earned. Created in partnership with QP.
THE CHALLENGE
Sound-design a brand film for one of the world’s most realism-driven product categories: protective gear used by military and law enforcement in active, high-risk environments. No room for stock sound or shortcuts. Every layer had to feel authentic enough that someone who has worn the kit recognises it.
THE APPROACH
WithFeeling built the soundtrack from the ground up: bespoke foley for boots on different surfaces, fabric and gear movement, impacts onto helmets and pads, breathing and proximity. Each cue was matched precisely to picture, layered for weight and dynamics, and tuned to land with the same focus and discipline the brand shows on screen. Designed in close collaboration with QP.
THE RESULT
A brand film that feels earned. The sound design gives Delta Three Oscar’s gear weight, presence and credibility, helping the film communicate exactly what the brand promises: protection that holds up under real conditions, built by people who understand what real conditions sound like.
