KUWAIT 50TH
To mark fifty years of its Constitution, Kuwait staged one of the largest fireworks displays ever seen, along the Gulf shore in front of the whole city. WithFeeling produced the soundtrack the show was fired to, working with Filmmaster Events and Parente Fireworks.
THE CHALLENGE
The 50th anniversary of Kuwait’s Constitution marked half a century since 1962, a landmark moment of pride and reflection for a nation celebrating its journey and its people. The challenge for an anniversary of this weight is emotion at scale: a sound that swells with patriotism and gratitude, honouring heritage while looking forward with hope, the kind of music that makes a whole country feel something together.
THE APPROACH
A pyrotechnic show is scored like a film that cannot be recut: every burst is fired to the music, so the soundtrack was built to the show’s timeline, with national pride carrying the arc and the biggest moments held back for the finale.
THE RESULT
Three and a half minutes a nation watched together, and a soundtrack that gave the record-breaking display its shape.
