A GLOBAL ODE TO UNITY.
Founded 50 years ago, the Islamic Development Bank unites 57 member countries across four continents, impacting nearly 20% of the world’s population. Notably, the bank’s mission centres on empowering communities to spearhead their own economic and social development on a large scale.
As a result, the Golden Jubilee called for a musical celebration with the scale and reach to match. A symphony that could honour diversity and embrace the shared human experience across every member country.
THE CHALLENGE
The IsDB Golden Jubilee was not a typical anniversary commemoration. Notably, the bank serves 57 member countries across four continents, with a global mandate to empower communities and drive scalable impact.
The symphony therefore needed to feel global in scope, classical in craft, and culturally inclusive in instrumentation. A musical celebration that honoured 50 years of unity while embracing the diversity of every member nation.
Furthermore, the composition had to balance ten full minutes of orchestral music with thematic cohesion. Every cultural voice represented without losing the thread of one shared experience.

THE APPROACH
WithFeeling composed a 10-minute symphony built on classical foundations and woven through with the traditional instruments of all 57 IsDB member countries. Notably, the score moved across continents and cultures without ever losing its central theme.
Each section was crafted to give voice to a region while threading into the broader narrative. As a result, the orchestration became a tapestry of cultural identity within a single symphonic journey.
Furthermore, the production captured both the gravitas of a formal anniversary occasion and the warmth of human celebration.
