Evans Cycles has been getting Britain on two wheels for more than a century, from daily commuters to weekend adventurers. WithFeeling composed the music and designed the sound for the retailer’s campaign film.
THE CHALLENGE
Evans Cycles is one of the UK’s best-known names in cycling, a specialist retailer that has been getting Britain on two wheels for well over a century. The challenge is the feeling of the ride: a sound full of momentum and freedom, energetic enough to capture the rush of the road while staying approachable for everyone from daily commuters to weekend adventurers.
THE APPROACH
The brief was momentum: music with the pulse of a ride, and sound design that puts you on the bike, tyres on tarmac, wind, gears and the city passing, mixed so the energy carries the film without shouting.
