YourBazaar needed to cut through a crowded marketplace and be remembered fast. WithFeeling created a Gold-winning sonic identity that turned a familiar melody into a playful, practical and instantly recognisable brand asset.
YourBazaar is a UAE-based digital marketplace created for a diverse, multilingual audience. With more than 100 nationalities living and shopping across the UAE, the brand needed a sonic identity that could feel instantly familiar, culturally neutral and easy to remember.
WithFeeling created a sonic identity built around a bold creative idea: reimagining the final phrase of Happy Birthday and rhythmically adapting it to sing yourbazaar.ae. The result was part sonic logo, part jingle and part call-to-action.
The project went on to win Gold at the 2025 Transform Awards MEA in the Best Audio Brand category.
THE CHALLENGE
YourBazaar was entering a busy digital marketplace with no existing audio footprint.
The brand needed to build recognition quickly, especially across radio, digital and social channels. The sound had to be memorable enough to work in a multitasking environment, simple enough to land instantly, and flexible enough to support future expansion across the Gulf.
It also needed to connect with Dubai’s multicultural audience without leaning too heavily into one language, culture or musical style.
THE APPROACH
WithFeeling leaned into familiarity.
Instead of creating something abstract or overly polished, the team used one of the world’s most recognisable melodic shapes as the foundation for the sonic logo. The familiar rhythm was repurposed to carry the brand’s URL, turning yourbazaar.ae into something people could sing, remember and act on.
The identity was built in three layers:
Top layer
A familiar melody, reimagined to trigger instant recognition.
Middle layer
The phonetic rhythm of the full URL, helping people remember where to go.
Sub layer
Real-world sound effects, including mouse clicks, doorbells and cash register cues, designed to reflect the online shopping journey and reinforce meaning through sound.
THE RESULT
The final sonic identity gave YourBazaar a sound that was simple, bold and commercially useful.
It worked as a brand mnemonic, a jingle and a direct call-to-action. It also gave the brand room to grow, with regional endings created for markets including .ae, .me, .sa, .qa and .om.
Launched through a national radio campaign in September 2024, the sonic identity helped YourBazaar reach more than 3 million listeners and supported the platform’s growth to over 60,000 users.
For WithFeeling, the project shows what sonic branding can do when the idea is clear enough to be remembered, brave enough to stand out and practical enough to drive action.
