We’re delighted to unveil perhaps our most prestigious project to date, The Riyadh Expo 2030 Official reception in Paris, collaborating with Hopscotch and the Royal Commission for Riyadh in their bid to host Expo 2030, by composing a series of immersive soundscapes for their launch event at Paris's Grand Palais Éphémère.
With delegates from 179 Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) member nations in attendance, including His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, we knew we had an opportunity to show our talents to a worldwide audience.
We were charged with creating an auditory experience that was as compelling and grand as its visual spectacle, with 10 original 4 to 5 minute pieces for each of the thematic zones, based on the overall Expo theme of ‘A Different Tomorrow’.

We blended traditional Saudi musical elements with Western flavours to create a majestic orchestral theme, incorporating live Oud recording and immersive airport sound design.

Airport Welcome Area: We crafted a catchy orchestral theme for this vital first contact point, blending Saudi musical elements with Western flavours. The live oud recording added authenticity, and the airport sound design created an immersive soundscape that complemented the visual experience.

Metro: We intensified the theme to mirror the dramatic atmosphere of a futuristic Metro journey to 'Riyadh 2030', using dynamic sounds and futuristic whooshes. This immersive auditory experience perfectly aligned with the Expo's forward-thinking vision.
Mega Projects: We amplified the orchestration to reflect the grandeur of Riyadh's ambitious projects. The music for this zone was designed to be epic, creating a sense of anticipation and excitement.
Riyadh EXPO 2030 Masterplan: We took a thoughtful approach to sonic branding for this zone, which featured an array of screens and projections. We recorded a clear and engaging voiceover, combined with carefully designed soundscapes. The arrangement of the main theme was decidedly futuristic, reflecting the innovative plans proposed for the Expo.
Land of Opportunities: We gave the theme for this zone a cultural twist, incorporating traditional arrangements that accentuated the spirit of Saudi Arabian culture and heritage.
Culture: We crafted an engaging track that combined urban beats with cultural sounds like chants and Oud. This fusion of modern and traditional encapsulated the essence of Saudi Arabia's cultural evolution and diversity.

Stage - Main Theme Jingles: For key stage events, we created brief, punchy versions of the theme, ensuring energetic and captivating transitions for speakers' walk-up and walk-out moments.
Case Study Best of Film: To conclude the event, we crafted an epic trailer version of the theme. This riveting track underscored the best-of reel, showcasing the highlights and successful outcomes of the event.
Riyadh Expo 2030 Official reception. The Royal Commission for Riyadh City unveiled the master plan for Riyadh Expo 2030 at an event in Paris, attended by representatives from 179 Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) member states. The Expo, located near the developing King Salman International Airport and accessible via Riyadh Metro, aims to provide a globally significant experience. The 226 spherical pavilions, designed to ensure equal opportunities for all participants, reflect Riyadh's history, culture, and commitment to climate concerns. The Expo's design also facilitates easy movement for visitors and includes shaded corridors inspired by Riyadh's architectural heritage. A landmark symbolising "Responsibility for Protecting the Planet" will be at the Expo's heart, surrounded by three pavilions representing the sub-themes of "Prosperity for All," "Climate Action," and "A Different Tomorrow." The Expo will also feature the Collaborative Change Corner (C3), an innovation hub. The Expo aims to be environmentally friendly, powered by solar energy, and committed to resource efficiency and biodiversity.
