Frontline Heroes honours the people who kept the UAE running through the pandemic, from healthcare staff to delivery drivers. WithFeeling composed and produced its sound: a two-minute piece written to carry the tribute across ceremonies, films and broadcast.
THE CHALLENGE
Frontline Heroes was a tribute to the essential workers who kept communities running through the most challenging of times, from healthcare staff to delivery drivers and everyone in between. The challenge for a piece like this is heartfelt sincerity: a sound that honours courage and sacrifice with genuine emotion, uplifting and dignified, the kind of music that says thank you without ever feeling hollow.
THE APPROACH
Gratitude has to sound honest, so the piece avoids fanfare: it opens quietly, builds with dignity, and reaches its full height only once, arranged so shorter cuts and a signature can be lifted from it wherever the identity appears.
THE RESULT
A sound that says thank you without feeling hollow, and an identity the initiative can carry long after the moment that created it.
