Dubai TV is one of the emirate’s flagship broadcasters, watched across the Arab world. WithFeeling composed and produced its sonic identity: the sound that opens the channel’s idents and returns before every programme.
THE CHALLENGE
Dubai TV is one of the emirate’s flagship broadcasters, a channel woven into daily life across the Arab world with news, drama and entertainment. The challenge for a broadcaster is instant recognition: a sound confident and current, distinctive enough to own the airwaves in a crowded media landscape while carrying the warmth and familiarity audiences tune in for.
THE APPROACH
A broadcaster’s identity has to work at ten seconds and at one, so we wrote the signature first, a short motif that carries the brand on its own, then built the full ident around it with a modern, confident production that sits comfortably against news, drama and entertainment alike.
THE RESULT
A sound viewers place in a second, distinctive in a crowded market and warm enough to feel like home.
